Founder and head of the brand, Rafael Bernardo is a 3th degree black belt, trained by master Ricardo de La Riva, one of the great athletes under Carlson Gracie and currently a coral belt. Rafael, who started in the gentle art in 1991, is a BJJ Coach in the United Arab Emirates, from where he commands Grenade’s HQ.

“Our goal is provide high-tech products, but with our identity and that of our clients, which communicate what we understand to be the values of BJJ. For example, we have a great difference in the uniformity of teams, when we develop designers to choice of our customers. Our goal is to maintain quality above all, but without forgetting the wishes of our public and the standards required by the most important federations, as the IBJJF and AJP”, explains Rafael, head of Grenade.

The brand currently supports athletes all over the world and makes the official uniform of great teams in the USA, Brazil and European countries like Portugal and Spain, among others.
